Steel Impact Cross Members

The impact cross members (bumpers), which are designed as crash test equipment and mounted to the body of the vehicle, are produced in Çelikform Gestamp roll-forming lines. These bumpers are obtained by connecting the sheet parts that are produced with press method to the sections that are bent with stretch-bending method by using welding technique. Parts connected with robotic welding method are put to test during the designing stage by using simulation method and  put to various crash tests after the production process. Furthermore, we are developing lighter and safer system designs by using innovation technologies.
